In response to a dramatic increase in Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) skimming incidents across New York City, Selfhelp Community Services, in partnership with New York City Councilmember Sandra Ung, the New York City Police Department (NYPD), and the New York City Department of Investigation (DOI), hosted an EBT Skimming Prevention Workshop today for older adults at the Latimer Gardens Older Adult Center in Flushing.

Selfhelp Realty Group Wins $1M in Buildings of Excellence Competition Award Funding

Today, Selfhelp Realty Group announced it has won a $1 million Buildings of Excellence (BOE) Competition Award from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to support construction of its upcoming Kissena House, an all-electric, energy-efficient project featuring 110 apartments for low-income older adults.
