Rozic Thanks Volunteers At The Selfhelp Senior Center

Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WFP-Fresh Meadows) thanked volunteers at the Selfhelp Senior Center in Flushing for their efforts and community service. Rozic had the opportunity to acknowledge Ray Joss, who at 100 years old is the oldest volunteer this year. Rozic works with the Selfhelp Senior Center throughout the year and has provided funding for their Holocaust Survivor Services program.

Queens Borough President Melinda Katz paid a visit on June 4 to the Selfhelp Austin Street Senior Center in Forest Hills – one of five Selfhelp locations in Queens – to meet with some of the seniors served by the facility, and to discuss issues that impact elderly Queens residents.
