Keeping our founders’ dreams alive.
From our pioneering days supporting Holocaust survivors seeking refuge in America, Selfhelp has been dedicated to enabling the elderly and other at-risk New Yorkers to live in their own homes, independently and with dignity. A handful of visionary and generous individuals committed their time and resources to make our very first activities possible. Their spirit is alive today in the many Selfhelp clients whose lives are greatly improved as a result of their commitment and your support.
We invite you to join our family of supporters.
Your financial support will enable us to help thousands of New Yorkers carry forward the vision of our founders and fulfill the tenets of our mission:
Your contributions to Selfhelp have measurable impact.
From our Nazi Victim Services Program, the oldest and largest such program in America serving more than 5,600 individuals, to our full roster of social service programs, Selfhelp’s accomplishments on behalf of elderly and at-risk New Yorkers would not be possible without your generosity.
Selfhelp Community Services, Inc. is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Your contributions to Selfhelp are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
Thank you for your support.
