From our pioneering days supporting Holocaust survivors seeking refuge in America, Selfhelp has been dedicated to enabling the elderly and other at-risk New Yorkers to live in their own homes, independently and with dignity. A handful of visionary and generous individuals committed their time and resources to make our very first activities possible. Their spirit is alive today in the many Selfhelp clients whose lives are greatly improved as a result of their commitment and your support.

• To maintain the independence and dignity of seniors and at-risk populations through a spectrum of housing, home health care, and social services

• To continue to serve as "the last surviving relative" to our historic constituency, victims of Nazi persecution
