At Selfhelp Senior Housing we are dedicated to all aspects of your well being.

From case management to entitlement advocacy, computer classes to pastoral counseling, Selfhelp’s affordable housing communities provide elderly New Yorkers with networks of support services that enable them to enjoy secure and independent lives.

Key social services include:

  • Case Management including counseling, advocacy, assistance with benefits applications, financial management and long term care planning.
  • Health Care Management including registered nurses who can answer health-related questions, check blood pressure and other functions and evaluate you for additional services such as home care, physical therapy, psychiatric treatment and hospice care.

There is a waiting list for each of our housing units. Applicants for Selfhelp housing must be at least sixty-two or older, able to live independently and meet certain income guidelines.To inquire about housing applications, please call 718.886.1412.
