Yes. All Selfhelp housing campuses offer a wide array of services that will make your mother comfortable and safe and give you peace of mind. Our on-site social workers will work with you to create the best plan for mom, including home health care if needed. We can also install cutting edge sensor and health-monitoring technologies to further ensure mom’s safety and security.

What do your buildings feature?
Our Selfhelp buildings are designed with aesthetics and safety in mind. Key features include:

• Disabled Accessibility and Ease of Navigation
• Medical Alert and Security Systems Including Emergency Pull Cords
• On-Site Social Workers for Counseling and Referral to Community Services

Are there special income requirements? How do I know if I am eligible for Selfhelp housing?
Some buildings provide low to moderate-income housing while others offer apartments at the going market rate. To inquire about income requirements and applications, please call 718.886.1412.

If I am a resident, what happens if my income changes?
If your income changes, our on-site social workers will help evaluate your situation and determine what subsidies may be available to you.

Are there waiting lists?
Yes. Each building has its own waiting list. To inquire about housing applications, please call 718.886.1412 . We are developing new housing complexes to meet the increaseddemand for Selfhelp senior housing.
